Ensuring Safety for Business Travelers and Expats and how Geo-political events affect our transferees.
In an increasingly interconnected world, the safety and security of international business travelers and expatriates have become critical concerns. This discussion brings together experts to explore strategies for keeping employees safe both abroad and at home.
We start with:
Evan Young, Chief Security Officer (CSO), Parker Hannifin: Drawing on his experience in risk management, Evan will discuss proactive measures to safeguard employees during international assignments. From assessing geopolitical risks to implementing robust security protocols, he'll share insights on protecting personnel in diverse environments.
Agent Charlie Johnson, FBI Representative. With expertise in counterterrorism and international investigations, our FBI representative will shed light on emerging threats faced by employees at home and abroad. They'll discuss cyber risks, espionage, and how organizations can collaborate with law enforcement agencies to mitigate dangers. As well as help us understand the FBI’s presence abroad and their responsibilities.
And finally – a voice from Global Mobility wraps up how all of these events and situations are affecting the Global Mobility landscape. Why our shipments are delayed, why housing is so difficult to find in certain locations and what we can do to set expectations for our transferring employees.
Q1 Charitable Cause
Chair-ity, Inc. is a nonprofit providing furniture and household goods to recipients who graduate from foster care, typically at the age of 18 and begin living on their own. Chair-ity’s goal is to ease this transition for each recipient and give them a better start, improving their chances of success and breaking the foster care cycle. They work with each recipient and their social worker to identify the specific needs of each individual to create a space that feels like a home, both welcoming and comforting, as these typically disadvantaged youth begin their life journey as an adult.
